This collaboration focuses on validating and promoting advanced technologies, such as drones and sensors, to enhance rice farming practices.
As part of the initiative, XAG has donated agricultural drones to IRRI to support research and development in precision agriculture. These drones offer significant benefits, including reduced costs, increased yields, optimized use of resources like water and fertilizers, and minimized environmental impact.
