The Plastics for Resilience (PFR) project aims to tackle both the plastic waste crisis and the need for improved disaster preparedness in the Philippines. They do this by exploring innovative ways to repurpose plastic waste into useful materials and products for disaster response. This could include things like creating emergency shelters, building materials, or even tools from recycled plastic. The project also involves a hackathon and expo to encourage the development of new ideas and solutions in this area.
